Objective: 1. Recall at least four of the CDC Guideline's 12 Recommendations
Objective 2: List two strategies for managing acute pain
Objective 3: Implement one recommendation for patients on long term opioid therapy (LTOT)

This session is accredited for a maximum of 1.5 AOA Category 1-A credits and 1.5 credits related to The Prescribing of Controlled Substances. Credits commensurate with participation in the session will be awarded.

Diane Zavotsky, MD
Diane Zavotsky, MD is a board certified Family Physician with a BA from Colby College and medical degree from McGill University in Montreal.  Her career spans three decades of full spectrum family medicine practice, working as a hospitalist and ultimately providing outpatient care in Somerset and Franklin counties for Health Reach Community Health Centers.  She resides in rural Somerset County with her husband and enjoys all four seasons of Maine’s great outdoors.
