The Iowa Osteopathic Medical Association is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians and designates this program for a maximum of .75 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician's participation in this activity.

Dr. Ashley Dikis joined the College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Des Moines University in 2020 as an assistant professor. She specializes in all aspects of care related to the forefoot, rearfoot, and ankle, including reconstruction, trauma, diabetic limb salvage, and elective procedures. She has served as the Clinical Department Chair since 2021. Previously, she was a staff podiatrist in the Department of Orthopedics at Greeneville Community Hospital in Greeneville, TN.
Dr. Dikis is certified by both the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. She earned a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences and history from Purdue University and a doctor of podiatric medicine degree from Des Moines University. She completed her podiatric medicine and surgery residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, PA.
