Learning Objectives:
• Understand the anatomy of the pelvic floor and how these structures lose support
• Be familiar with the typical presentation of different types of pelvic organ prolapse
• Be familiar with treatment options for pelvic organ prolapse

The Iowa Osteopathic Medical Association is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians and designates this program for a maximum of .75 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician's participation in this activity.

Dr. Olesen is a graduate of Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa. She completed a rotating internship and OB/GYN residency at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc, Michigan. She is board certified by the American Board of Osteopathic Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Olesen joined the medical staff at Broadlawns Medical Center in October 2019. She is the section chief of the OB/GYN department, and is accepting new patients and referrals.
